About Lara &  And Your Little Dog Too

I’m a proud “crazy dog lady,” with a special love for small dogs.  My two pups, Lulu and Pippa, are the light of my life and the inspiration for my business.

In my former life as a PR Manager in San Francisco, California, I was lucky enough to get to bring Lulu to work during her puppy phase.  Once she was full-grown and we adopted Pippa, I had to leave them at home and rely on a dog sitter while my husband and I worked our two busy jobs.

Finding good care for them took a lot of time, trial, and error.  I have had dog sitters stand me up, lose my house keys, yell at my dogs, or “walk” them for less than 15 minutes.  I hated being away from my “fur babies,” and only wanted them in the care of someone I could really trust.  After some very frustrating experiences, we finally found Kimberley at Bowser’s Buddy Pet Care in Sunnyvale, California.  Kimberley has been caring for dogs for decades, and soon became my gold standard for all future dog sitters.  (If you are in the Bay Area and looking for a dog walker and sitter, I cannot recommend Kimberley and her team enough!) 

When we relocated to Seattle for my husband’s job, I knew immediately what I wanted to do: bring the standard of Kimberley’s care to the city of Seattle, so other busy puppy parents don’t have to go through what we have. 

It is my absolute promise to you to:

• Get to know you and your dogs’ individualized needs and preferences.

As a pet parent myself, I know how difficult it can be to leave your dog alone or with someone you don’t know.  It is my mission to give you and your dogs the best service and care possible.
